The White House announced today that President Obama has made what could be a final push to shore up workers wages before he leaves office. It is now in writing that if you are a salaried employee that works more than 40 hours per week, you will be owed overtime at the rate not less than time and a half. Although this sounds great on the surface, it may very well cause some employers to do away with salaried positions and move the entire company roster to hourly rates.
