NASA Wants Your Help With The Solar Eclipse

NASA Wants Eclipse Viewers To Grab Data For Them-NASA is launching an app so anyone can track and document the solar eclipse that’s coming next month.

The space agency is inviting people to become what it calls “citizen scientists” when the total solar eclipse happens on August 21st. All you need is a smartphone and a thermometer.

A deputy coordinator for the project says “No matter where you are in North America, whether it’s cloudy, clear or rainy, NASA wants as many people to help with this citizen science project.”

People everywhere in North America will see at least a partial eclipse. After downloading the app and registering yourself, the app will guide you in recording your observations.

Download the app HERE.
