A Chris Cornell statue was unveiled at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle Sunday evening.
Cornell’s widow Vicky and his Soundgarden bandmates were all on hand, as were his three children, Christopher, Toni and Lily. They pulled back the curtain to reveal the six-foot bronze statue, with Cornell wearing a leather jacket and dog tags and playing a Gibson guitar. The unveiling was followed by a hour-long screening of a 2013 Soundgarden concert filmed inside the museum’s Sky Church.
