Warren County United Way’s 4th Annual Tap & Cork Event Saturday

The Warren County United Way is already marching towards the organization’s fundraising goal for the year with a quarter of the goal already reached in just one month. The organization is always growing in it’s reach – for example it’s recent partnering with the Knox County United Way, which according to Executive Director Jeannie Weber makes sense. The two already fund some of the same agencies. One of the big fundraising event for the Warren County United Way is its 4th Annual Tap & Cork Event on Saturday, October 20th. Held at Market Alley Wines from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Weber says it’s a great event for only $25 a ticket. “With the ticket, you get great beer, great wine, great food, a lot of really cool stuff that we’re giving away,” Weber said. “Great music – Craig Vivian – he’s also a professor at Monmouth College, but he’s got a great following…. He does just about everything and we really love that. Again, it’s just really nice to be able to celebrate our friends and our businesses at support us so much.” De Novo Beer and Alfano’s in Monmouth is providing beer and food for the event. Your ticket gets you entered for prizes to be drawn throughout the night. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit the Warren County United Way. Tickets are limited so call 734-6364.
