Iron Spike Brewing Company will be a happening place Wednesday night as the brewery host the Knox County Humane Society’s annual Holiday Cheer Fest for the Pets.
Running from 6-9, attendees can enjoy food, wine and beer tasting, silent auction, 50/50 drawing and more at a cost of just $20 per ticket.
Erin Buckmaster with the Humane Society tells WGIL that the event raises money for all of the numerous operational expenses the shelter procures.
“Vet bills are extremely high and even just all the utilities and everything,” she says. “It’s just an expensive operation to run and to make sure that the pets are as comfortable as they can be while they’re in our care and also a chance to get a good home.”
Tickets for the event can be purchased either at the animal shelter on Windish Drive prior to the event, or that night at the door.
