New Tool May Be Out By May

It looks Tool fans are one step closer to getting a new album this year.

Friday morning, singer Maynard James Keenan tweeted an update, claiming, “Final vocals tracked MONTHS ago” before he hit the road with A Perfect Circle in October. He added, “If Tool all inst are tracked, long process of Mixing now.”

Tool has four festival dates booked for May and June, so fans are hopeful that the album might be out in time for those shows. May 2nd will mark 13 years since the release of the band’s last album, 10,000 Days.

Keenan also said that a new Puscifer project is due out in 2020 and that he’ll continue to “troll the band FBs with wine posts.”
