A Galesburg man is being charged with Class X felonies of meth delivery following a Monday arrest.
33-year-old Terry W. Darst made a video appearance in Knox County Circuit Court yesterday with Judge Paul L. Mangieri, who appointed the public defender and set Darst’s bond at $25,000.
Darst faces three Class X felony charges, which include Armed Violence, Aggravated Meth Delivery under 100 grams, Meth Delivery – without the aggravated nature – under 100 grams.
He’s also charged with a Class 1 Meth Possession and being a Felon in Possession of a Weapon, a Class 3 offense.
It is alleged that Darst was in possession of around 16-grams of methamphetamine and a shotgun following a traffic stop in Abingdon.
Judge Mangieri scheduled a preliminary hearing for February 11th.
