Nikki Sixx has joined his bandmate Tommy Lee in complaining that KISS‘s End of the Road Tour staging copies elements from Motley Crue‘s final tour.

On February 7th Lee tweeted a video from the tour kick-off in Vancouver, where Gene Simmons and Tommy Thayer were transported by two cranes. Lee wrote in a caption, “Dayum @KISSOnline this sure looks identical to @MotleyCrue’s final tour.”

On Saturday night, just before KISS was to play at The Forum in Inglewood, California, Sixx posted two photos on Instagram from the Crue’s Final Tour stage set where he and Vince Neil are carried by cranes over the arena. Sixx wrote in the caption, “If ya wanna see an exact reenactment of this just go to the #LosAngeles Forum tonight.”

Sunday, Sixx followed that with a tweet of a side-by-side photo comparison of himself and Simmons where it looks like they’re on the exact same crane equipment. Sixx added, “Wow. Our body wasn’t even cold before they took this exact grande finale from our tour. Might not matter to KISS fans but it does to Crue fans. I dug their music when I was a little kid and it was cool to co-headline together a few years but this disappoints me.”
