Former Slipknot Singer Says No While Booted Member Says I’m Still In

One former member of Slipknot says he doesn’t want back in, while the guy that fans had been hoping he’d replace says he’s still in the band.

Rumors of original singer Anders Colsefni joining as a replacement for Chris Fehn after the percussionist-vocalist was booted gained steam last week when Corey Taylor tweeted that he’d love to see that happen. But Colsefni posted on Facebook that it won’t. He explains, “It is certainly not for any animosity I have — I simply don’t know those guys anymore.” He adds that he’s happy with his current “real job” working in concrete construction and that “as much as I had dreamed of rejoining my creation…it is not enough of a dream anymore to risk being homeless when the tour is over!”

Meanwhile, Fehn’s lawyer Joseph Dunne tells the Des Monies Register that the even though there’s a lawsuit over business dealings, “my client really is just hoping to figure out a way to work this out with the people he’s worked side-by-side with for the last 20 years.” Dunne adds that there’s been no official change in Fehn’s employment with the band — even though they announced last week he’d been kicked out — and that “if it was up to Fehn, he would remain a member.”
