Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains joined Sammy Hagar’s 72nd birthday celebration at Sammy’s Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last Wednesday.
Cantrell performed the Alice in Chains classic “Man in the Box” with Hagar and his group, The Circle, then did “Rock Candy” from Sammy’s first recording band, Montrose. You can find both performances on YouTube (WARNING: There are f-bombs in the intros to each of them.)
The Wednesday celebration was followed by more birthday partying on Friday and Sunday nights.
