Police arrest three Galesburg men on drug warrants

Police arrested three Galesburg men yesterday on unrelated drug warrants.

The most serious charges are against 41-year-old John C. Washington, who faces a Class X count of possession with intent to deliver between 15 and 100 grams of cocaine. He is held on $30,000 bond.

Court records allege the Class X charge and a lesser coke possession charge stem from a March 9 incident.

Christopher L. Mixon is accused of unlawful delivery and possession of less than 15 grams of heroin and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. The 32 year old is held on $150,000 bond. Mixon’s charges are alleged to have occurred Oct. 22.

Thirty-five-year-old Joshua C. Behymer faces unlawful delivery and possession of less than 15 grams of heroin. His bond is set at $50,000. Behymer’s charges stem from an incident reported in January.

Knox County Judge Stephen Mathers set all three for Monday court appearances.
