There are few things that can make or break a day like a smile. Sure, it’s generally a good thing…and in this case, it’s very hot smile. In case you missed it, Kilauea has been erupting hard…and exploding with smiles. Okay, just one. It’s in the Pu’u O’o crater (yup – you can sound it out). For the record, Kilauea volcano has been erupting continuously since 1983 – and we can see why the Pu’u O’o crater would be smiling. Lava from Pu’u O’o recently reached the ocean for the first time since 2013.
