Just because Motley Crue got together to record some new songs for their upcoming movie The Dirt doesn’t mean they’re ever going to play them live together in front of an audience.
That’s the upshot from a new interview with Nikki Sixx in Rolling Stone, in which the bassist tells them, “Sometimes I look out at my friends, like the guys in Aerosmith and Metallica, and I’m like, ‘God damn it, did we retire too soon?’ But there will be no one-offs in our future. Maybe we’ll just get together and jam in Mick Mars’ front room.”
The Dirt is set to premiere on Netflix on March 22nd, the same day the Crue’s soundtrack album for it comes out.
