Green Day conquered Broadway with American Idiot, and now they’re spinning a song from another album into the world of graphic novels.
All three members are credited with co-writing Last of the American Girls, loosely based on the 21st Century Breakdown track of the same name. The book, illustrated by Frank Caruso, is described as “an inspiring homage and handbook for the rebellious everywoman who refuses to capitulate.”
Last of the American Girls is due for publication on October 29th.
