Tobias Forge is looking ahead to the next Ghost album, and predicts it’ll be very different from their last album.
Forge tells Revolver that they’ll hit the studio in January. He says, “I want to make a different record from Prequelle. I want it to feel different. If I dare to say heavier, people think that it’s going to be Mercyful Fate all the way…but I definitely have a darker, heavier record in mind.”
Forge adds that in hindsight he thinks Prequelle was “a little ballad heavy” and that he wants their next chapter to lean more in the direction of 2015’s Meliora.
