Tom Morello will take his life story to the stage next month in New York City.
Tom Morello at the Minetta Lane is set for September 18th, 19th, and 20th, and is presented by Audible, which owns the theater. Morello says, “I was the only black kid in an all-white town, the only anarchist at a conservative high school, the only heavy metal guitarist at Harvard University, and the only Ivy League Star Trek nerd in the biggest political rap-rock band of all time. The songs, the stories, the triumphs, the tragedies, the riffs, the rebellion — all will be revealed. Oh, and I’m going play a lot of ripping guitar, too.”
Tickets for the three shows go on sale Friday.
Back in May, Morello announced that he was teaming up with Genesis Publications for a limited-edition book about his life titled Tom Morello: Whatever It Takes.
