Two injured in roll-over accident in McDonough Co.

Two individuals sustained severe injuries following a single-vehicle accident in rural McDonough County.

According to the Illinois State Police, 26-year-old Henry Kliffmiller-Fowler of Prairie City and 24-year-old Christopher Abbott of Bushnell were ejected from a 1993 Jeep Wrangler that overturned Friday at around 12:06 pm along Illinois Route 41. Kliffmiller-Fowler was listed as the driver of the Jeep Wrangler.

A release from ISP says that the Jeep was southbound on 41 near the intersection of County Road 2100 North, between Prairie City and Bushnell, when it crossed the centerline, left the east side of the road and rolled over. Specific details on their injuries are not given.

ISP says charges are pending and that the accident was caused by “Improper Lane Usage.”
