Stone Temple Pilots have scrapped their acoustic tour in support of Perdida.
They say they had to cancel “due to a severely herniated disc of lead vocalist Jeff Gutt. Doctors have advised immediate surgery, along with several weeks of recovery time and physical therapy. Gutt is expected to make a full recovery, and the band hopes to reschedule the acoustic tour later this year.”
Fans can get refunds at point of purchase. STP still plan to tour Australia in April with Live and Bush, and North America with Nickelback this summer.
Perdida is due out February 7th.
