AC/DC fans turned out in droves for a tribute to late singer Bon Scott on Sunday in Perth, Australia.
The Highway to Hell event took place on a six mile stretch of Canning Highway and saw a wide range of performers, from AC/DC tribute bands to the Perth Symphony Orchestra, play the band’s classic tracks from the backs of flatbed trucks and trailers.
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported that an estimated 150,000 people lined the route that ended in Fremantle. It was 40 years ago on Sunday that Scott’s ashes were buried at Fremantle Cemetery.
