Monmouth College joins ‘Heart Hunters’ movement

Monmouth College has joined the growing “Heart Hunters” movement, doing its part to give families a welcome distraction during the COVID-19 pandemic by creating three College-themed hearts. The Heart Hunters idea went viral after Krista Wynes of Galesburg shared a post last Saturday with the idea to cut out hearts and put them up in a front window in a scavenger hunt-type activity for kids. The idea posted on Saturday, March 21st was a great way for the community to come together, and to give her kids some excitement when they’re on walks. Monmouth Vice President for Development and College Relations Hannah Maher said, “by sharing a little Monmouth pride, we hope you may find members of your Monmouth community who are closer than you realize.” She added, “We so look forward to ‘seeing’ our Monmouth community virtually until we can welcome you back home again.” To download the Scots Hearts, go here.
