It looks like Lollapalooza will be the next festival to get postponed — or canceled outright.
The promoters usually announce the lineup for the Chicago event, which is slated for July 30th through August 2nd, this month. They haven’t yet, and they sent out an E-mail to fans this week that says, “As we work to determine our plans for Lolla 2020, we’ve opened up our archives to bring you Lolla From the Vault and Perry’s Power Hour — two memorable sets every week on YouTube.” The first performance that will stream is The Strokes from 2010, Thursday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The organizers hope to have a “definitive decision about the path forward by the end of May.”
