AC\DC Celebrate 40th Anniversary of Back In Black

This Saturday marks the 40th anniversary of the release of AC/DC’s landmark album, Back in Black — July 25th, 1980.

In celebration, Slash, REO Speedwagon guitarist Dave Amato, members of Alice in Chains, Cage the Elephant, Anthrax and more will take part in the the Back in Black 40th Anniversary: A Virtual Celebration livestream event.

In addition, the webcast will also include AC/DC testimonials, appearances, tutorials and performances.

It goes live on Friday at 5 p.m. ET on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitch channels of Consequence of Sound.

Back in Black, AC/DC’s first album with singer Brian Johnson, has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide thanks to a track list that includes the title track, “Hells Bells,” “Shoot to Thrill” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
