UConn won the men’s college basketball National Championship (again!) and we have given away hundreds in cash to our top brackets in The Corral Big Bracket Challenge:
For the first time, we had a 5-way tie for the most points! The top 5 each scored 91 points, each had 46 correct picks, and all of them had selected both UConn and Purdue to be in the national championship game. So the winners of the three cash prizes were determined by the tie-breaker, which was their guesses as to the total points scored in the national championship game:
LUCAS JOHNSON of Monmouth
was the closest at 150 points (+15) and scored $500 cash!
2nd place and $250 goes to
STEPHANIE (RENEE) JENKINS of Galesburg
She had guessed 163 points (+28)
3rd place and $100 goes to
STEPHANIE LANDON of Williamsfield
She had guessed 171 points (+36)
