Record Store Day Preview

It’s time to wait on line for vinyl reissues again — also known as Record Store Day.

You can look over the entire list at RecordStoreDay.com and pick out what you want on Saturday. But here are our choices for the best of the list.

 

Gary Clark Junior with Junkie XL – Come Together – This 12-inch picture disc is packaged with a 24-page Justice League comic book and Justice League poster.

The Cure – Mixed Up, Torn Down (Mixed Up Extra) – The band’s 1990 remix album gets its first vinyl pressing, while Torn Down features 16 new remixes by Robert Smith.

Def Leppard – Live at Abbey Road – This 12-inch single was recorded at the famed studios back in 2008.

Disturbed – The Lost Children – This double-LP is a reissue of the band’s 2011 B-sides compilation.

Gov’t Mule – Girl With No Self Esteem – The 12-inch single includes two previously unreleased tracks pulled from the Revolution Come…Revolution Go sessions.

Led Zeppelin – “Friends”/”Rock and Roll” – This seven-inch single has previously unreleased versions of both tracks.

Linkin Park – One More Night Live – The double LP is the first vinyl release of the band’s 2017 live album.

Rage Against the Machine – Live at the Democratic National Convention 2000 – This LP is the first release of the band’s protest concert in Los Angeles.

Soundgarden – A-Sides – The band’s 1997 collection gets its first vinyl release.

Stone Sour – Hydrograd Acoustic Sessions – This LP compiles four acoustic performances.

U2 – Lights of Home – This 12-inch single includes a remix by Beck.
