Richard Fortus Says New Guns And Roses Is Coming Sooner Rather Than Later

One of the non-original members of Guns n’ Roses claims that fans might not have to wait that long for new music from the band.

Guitarist Richard Fortus told KSHE-FM in St. Louis that, “We’re going to try and do another record and get it out soon. The band’s so great right now. I think it will happen faster than you think. I sure hope it happens faster than you think.”

Asked if that means 2019, Fortus replied, “It could definitely happen. There might be stuff started. We’re hoping to get one out very soon.”

The members of GNR have other projects on tap for 2019. Slash and Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators have dates booked through the summer, Duff McKagan has a solo album on the way and Fortus himself is producing an album for the Psychedelic Furs.
