Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day has started a new covers series.
Armstrong calls it “No Fun Mondays” and says the he’s “going to release a cover song every week until we’re let back out into the world.” This week’s song is “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around a Memory” by Johnny Thunders, and it’s on YouTube now.
Last Monday Armstrong released a cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now.”
