Galesburg police arrested five men early Saturday morning after an altercation at an area bar left two men stabbed with what authorities say were “non-life threatening injuries.”
Jesse Ordonez, Christopher Rasso, Isidro Hernandez-Solis, Miguel Alvarez and Zachary Delacruz were each apprehended. Ordonez faces the most serious charge of aggravated battery with a weapon for allegedly stabbing Rasso and Alvarez. He received a bond of $100,000 over the weekend and was appointed a public defender this afternoon in Knox County Circuit Court.
According to a police report, authorities arrived at the parking lot of Seminary St. Pub shortly after 2 a.m. where they found Ordonez on the ground with blood on his head and the aforementioned stabbed subjects with puncture wounds.
Alvarez, Hernandez-Solis and Rasso all face aggravated battery and mob action charges. Delacruz was arrested on a $500 Knox County warrant.
Three of the suspects told police that Ordonez allegedly accused them of having gang affiliation which started the fight. All five will re-appear in court at various times over the next month.
