Local police executed a search warrant Wednesday that led to a man being arrested for disseminating and possessing child pornography.
32-year old Brian M. Gilbert, originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa but apparently residing in Galesburg, was arrested at 1336 Rona Dr.
The search warrant was issued following an investigation involving the Illinois Attorney General’s office.
A release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Department reads that “several items of child pornography were found in the residence” and subsequently led to the Gilbert’s arrest by Sheriff’s deputies and Galesburg officers.
