No arrests have been made a no injuries were reported from a “shots fired” call that occurred over the weekend in Galesburg.
According to a report, officers responded to the 100-block of North Pearl Street at 6:53 Monday night where approximately three shots were fired from a gun.
Residents in the area said they saw three light-skinned black males, believed to be in their early 20s, arguing in the road.
A female witness told police she believed she saw a subject firing a gun, seeing what she described as flashes coming from it.
The three subjects than reportedly ran off. With snow falling at the time and accumulation on the ground there were footprints observed on the ground.
