Galesburg fire officials say a large garage and two vehicles that were parked outside in the 500 block of North Chambers Street are all a “total loss” after a morning fire took place today.
Fire crews arrived shortly after 4 a.m. to battle the blaze. When firefighters arrived, the fire had already burned completely through the roof of the alley garage.
Two cars that were parked nearby also ignited and were destroyed.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. An investigation is on-going.
