Today’s downpours caused the Knox County Fair to reschedule tonight’s stock car races and reduce the price for carnival ride wristbands.
The races will be at 7 p.m. next Thursday and wristbands will be $15 instead of $25 today. Additionally, the $3 gate fee has been dropped for today.
Darcy Thorp with the Fair Board says the wet weather forced the changes. She says some vendors will stick around next Thursday and the beer tent will remain open.
Entry in next Thursday’s rescheduled stock car races will be $15.
